Kindle Fire Giveaway

I will be having a giveaway for a new Kindle Fire!
Giveaway entries will be $10 each or $50 for 6 entries.
The giveaway will begin today with the winner chosen on March 1st.

As many of you know, I have been to Sierra Leone, West Africa, twice now.  With every trip, I leave a part of my heart there. On my first trip (Sept. 2009) I got to meet Sheku, the first child we sponsored and I met Emmanuel, with whom I fell in love and who we began sponsoring after that trip.

We are still sponsoring Emmanuel. Sheku has another sponsor family who has taken over his complete sponsorship. We are now sponsoring Dauda, a 12 year old boy who came to the center in 2009. He is one of the few children who have never had a sponsor come visit. Now that we are his sponsors, I feel a great need to get over there to spend some time bonding with him…showing him the love of a family.

We get to Skype with Dauda and Emmanuel weekly.  Today they asked me “When are you coming?” When I told them I was coming in June, they laughed uncontrollably! There is nothing quite like the sound of hearing orphans giddy because they want to see you!

I am preparing for my next trip to The Covering orphanage in June.  I am raising funds to help cover the cost of this trip, which will cost about $3000.  Some amazing friends generously donated a Kindle Fire for me to raffle to help fund my trip.

To enter the giveaway, click the “donate” button, which takes you to PayPal.  Please be sure to write your name in a note/message area to be sure you get entered into the giveaway
